Time to set the record straight on a few minor misconceptions. Here are some questions and answers related to my recent and upcoming activities.
Q: Are you already in Hong Kong?
A: Not quite. Our flight out is May 25th, 2013. We arrive in Hong Kong on June 7th (we have a few stops on the way).
Q: What are you going to be doing in Hong Kong?
A: Work wise, I’ll be opening a branch office for MWI and working remotely on other projects.
Q: What’s happening to MWI after you leave?
A: I’ve got people helping me out and most of the company is self-sufficient, and the parts that aren’t can easily be managed from another location. In other words, everything remains the same at MWI. I’m still running it just as much as ever. More so, actually.
Q: Didn’t you get a new job writing for Forbes?
A: Sort of. I’m now a contributor at Forbes. I don’t get paid, so it’s not a job in that sense. I’ll be posting 1-2 times per week.
Q: Weren’t you planning on going back to school to get a PhD or something? Whatever happened to that?
A: That has always been about three years out. It still is.
Q: Are you ready to move?
A: Ugh, no.
If you have any other questions post in the comments. Thanks!
