No, I haven’t raised millions on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter, but I just interviewed one of the 152 people who has–Bryce Fisher of Ravean. Bryce will soon be launching an online course based on the methods he used, which he says anyone can apply to achieve the same kind of success he did. If you’ve ever thought of doing a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter or Indigogo, you’re definitely going to want to watch this.
Note: This was my first time interviewing someone on Periscope. I’m not pleased with the low video quality. I had a stable image since I used a tripod, a new Google Nexus 6p, and a very fast Internet connection that nobody else was using since it was a holiday and the office was empty. I suspect it’s just part of the app, and I hope they improve it, otherwise I’ll be tempted to record future interviews with normal video and ditch Periscope altogether. At the same time, I’m excited about the potential of Periscope as a medium, so I want to give it a good chance. If you’ve got any tips let me know.
