In 1999, Josh founded his marketing agency, MWI. Fourteen years later, a strategic error left him on the edge of bankruptcy with only three clients left. In this desperate moment, Josh was invited to write a column for Forbes. Writing for Forbes opened the door for Josh to write hundreds of articles for over two dozen publications including TIME, Inc., Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Mashable, and TechCrunch. The attention generated by those articles led to a TEDx talk, a book deal, co-authoring a Harvard Business School case study, and over $10M in revenue for his agency.
Josh’s experiences with personal branding and thought leadership led him to create The 7 Systems of Influence, a framework to help leaders create content that attracts attention from the right audience and gets them to take action.
Today, Josh is a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author, oversees multiple businesses under his holding company Pando Partners, and spends time as a speaker to audiences worldwide and a book coach to successful entrepreneurs and executives.
